Our Mission
People . . . that's why the Northern Light Network exists: to evangelize, edify, encourage and inform people in the North through media broadcasting that is culturally relevant and pleasing to God. Through our existing stations, KCAM in the Copper River Valley and KRSA in Southeast Alaska, Northern Light Network broadcasts a message of hope, the hope found in knowing Jesus Christ . . . but we have a greater vision!
Northern Light Network seeks to reach people in the most remote parts of the North. We have a vision of reaching the indigenous people of Alaska, an area encompassing over 100 villages that have no consistent testimony of the hope found in Christ. Together with SEND International of Alaska, Northern Light Network's church-planting parent organization, we are working to proclaim Christ in these mostly forgotten places - in short, to give Christ a "Voice in Every Village" through our radio broadcast ministry.
From the beginning, Northern Light Network's ministry has been about reaching people. Matthew 4:16 says, "The people who were sitting in the darkness saw a great Light, and to those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, upon them a Light dawned." Would you prayerfully consider how God may be asking you to join with Him and with Northern Light Network to extend our reach and share the love of Christ with an entire region of people at risk, people "who are sitting in the land and shadow of death"?
